If you are unsure if you would qualify to have a service dog, or do not know the requirements for service dogs, please read the FAQ’s from the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) website: Click here

I also highly recommend this book. While a service dog might seem like a quick fix or an easy answer, many times a service dog is actually not the right fit and can bring more stress than it brings help. It also takes a very well tempered dog to be a service dog, and simply making your current dog a service dog is often not feasible or fair to your dog.
